Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2024 — Last Updated: January 1, 2024Overview of This Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for advisory services purchased from Lurvion. By purchasing or engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.
Lurvion provides travel planning and advisory services, including personalized itinerary design, destination research, travel preparation guidance, documentation checklists, and remote travel coordination support. Our services are informational and advisory in nature only.
Nature of Digital and Advisory Services
Lurvion's services are customized advisory services prepared specifically for each client. Once our work begins, time, research, planning, review, and professional effort are invested into the creation of personalized travel planning materials.
Advisory services may include destination research, route structuring, itinerary design, daily plan preparation, travel documentation guidance, checklist creation, and remote planning coordination. Because these services are customized and knowledge-based, refund eligibility depends on the stage of service delivery at the time the refund request is received.
Refund Eligibility Before Work Begins
If you request a cancellation before Lurvion has begun work on your consultation, research, itinerary design, travel preparation materials, or other advisory deliverables, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the specific circumstances of the engagement.
Work is considered to have begun once we have reviewed your submitted information, started destination research, prepared planning notes, scheduled advisory work, created preliminary materials, or otherwise allocated time and resources to your project.
Refunds After Advisory Work Has Started
Once advisory work has started, refunds are not guaranteed. Because Lurvion provides customized planning, research, and informational services, fees may compensate time already spent, research already performed, planning materials already prepared, and internal resources already allocated.
- If only minimal work has been completed, Lurvion may offer a partial refund at its discretion.
- If substantial research, planning, consultation, or document preparation has been completed, the service fee may be non-refundable.
- If final advisory materials have already been delivered, the payment is generally non-refundable.
- If a client fails to provide required information after work has begun, this does not automatically qualify the client for a refund.
Completed and Delivered Services
Payments for completed and delivered advisory services are generally non-refundable. A service is considered delivered when Lurvion has provided the agreed consultation, itinerary, destination research, checklist, preparation guidance, planning document, or other advisory material.
Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference, change of travel plans, change of destination, changed budget, changed availability, or a decision not to travel does not automatically qualify for a refund after the advisory work has been delivered.
Client Changes, Cancellations, and Travel Disruptions
Lurvion is not responsible for changes, cancellations, delays, restrictions, price changes, availability issues, denied entry, documentation problems, weather events, airline disruptions, accommodation issues, tour provider issues, government actions, or any other third-party travel circumstances.
Because Lurvion does not book travel, purchase tickets, reserve accommodations, or handle client funds, refunds for flights, hotels, tours, transportation, insurance, or other third-party travel products must be requested directly from the relevant provider.
Non-Refundable Items and Circumstances
The following fees, services, or circumstances are generally non-refundable:
- Completed consultations, advisory sessions, or planning calls.
- Delivered itinerary designs, destination research documents, travel checklists, or planning materials.
- Research time, preparation time, administrative time, and custom planning work already performed.
- Service fees where the client provided inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or changing information after work began.
- Refund requests based on third-party travel provider decisions, including airline, hotel, tour, transportation, insurance, or governmental actions.
- Refund requests caused by the client's decision not to use the advisory materials provided.
Revisions and Service Adjustments
In certain cases, Lurvion may offer reasonable revisions or service adjustments instead of a refund. If a delivered advisory document contains a clear error caused by Lurvion, we may correct the error or update the relevant material at no additional cost.
Revisions do not include complete redesign of a trip due to changed preferences, changed destinations, changed travel dates, changed budget, changed group size, or new requirements introduced after the original scope was agreed.

Processing Time

Any processing fees, transaction fees, or payment processor charges may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted by applicable law and payment processor rules.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a payment, service, or refund decision, we encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We will make a good-faith effort to review your concern and provide a clear response.
Lurvion reserves the right to provide service records, communications, completed work, consultation notes, invoices, and other relevant documentation to payment processors or financial institutions in response to chargebacks or disputes.
